Course Description:

HSCI 453 INFECTIOUS DISEASE The course will explore the basic mechanisms of infectious diseases and the consequences of infection to the health of an individual and the population. Diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, and other infectious agents will be examined, including current diseases of particular importance. Prerequisites: BIOL 223, HSCI 343, or instructor’s approval.
