Course Description:

HSCI 343 MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY This course explores the language of the medical field, with the aim to define medical jargon for clear communication and understanding. The course takes a body systems approach to examine the roots, prefixes, and meanings of the medical language, including anatomical, normal and pathological conditions. Required prerequisite: BIOL 213. Recommended prerequisite: BIOL 223. Three Hours, Fall
